WHAT IS A ZOMBIE
WALK?
|
A zombie walk is an organized public
gathering of people dressed up in zombie costumes. Usually
taking place in an urban centre, the participants make
their way through the city streets in a somewhat orderly
fashion, limping and dragging themselves towards a predetermined
public space.

| HOW
CAN I GET INVOLVED? |
Spread the word about our events. Help put up posters.
Get dressed up and made-up as a zombie and then come
out and join us. If you don't want to do that, then
at least come out to watch, take pictures or videos,
and cheer (jeer?) us on.

| WALK
DETAILS |
Our next walk will be held on Sunday, October
26, 2008 a.k.a. World Zombie Day. We'll be meeting
in the parking lot at the NW corner of King and Clarence
at 4:00 pm, then walking around downtown. Here's the
2008 route map.
The official afterparty will be held later that same
night at Call The Office. Since it's a Sunday,
it's Raygun night... or rather Zombie Raygun.
If you can't make it out to the walk, you're still
welcome to join us at CTO afterwards. There'll be
prizes for the best zombie costumes, a zombie dance
contest, and much more!
Our first walk was held on Saturday, October 27,
2007. It was a non-profit, just-for-fun event
that was open to everyone. Zombies of all ages--and
all stages of decomposition--were welcome to walk
with us. And walk with us they did! We had just over
150 participants.

I WANT TO BE
A ZOMBIE TOO |
Great! Here are some tips. Before you put together
your costume and make-up, give some thought to who
your corpse was in real life, how you died, and what
turned you into a zombie. That will help guide you
through the whole zombification process.
Also, try searching zombie make-up
on YouTube
for some great videos.
